William Bennett, or as the neighbors called him, "Uncle Bill" was a registered violent sex predator after two incidents in 1996. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison, but was released after only eight. 

Uncle Bill, a family friend, was asked to babysit the five year old while her mother was running errands. The little girl told her mother that Bennett had touched her between her legs while he was babysitting. Bennett threatened her, saying that if she told her mother or the police, they would hurt her. 

The mother says she knew that Uncle Bill was a registered offender, but had no "reason not to trust him". Investigation is currently underway. Read the full article from The Indy Channel here.
